01 Two Effects, One Cream

Two effects. One cream.

Every Zero Lines formulation is built to do two things at once — something you can see the first time you use it, and something that builds quietly underneath while you keep using it. The night cream is the clearest example in the range.

Immediately The very first morning

You wake up looking rested.

The cream is formulated to hold water in the tissue across the whole of the night rather than release it in the first hour. You wake to skin that looks plumper and rested, and the surface reads smooth instead of tight and dull. That difference is visible the very first morning — long before anything structural has had time to change.

Over time Night after night

The barrier recovers.

Niacinamide and a restorative lipid matrix work with the skin's own overnight renewal cycle. Night after night the barrier recovers a little more completely and the skin's own structure is supported, so expression lines have less to return to. Nothing dramatic on any single morning. Everything, cumulatively.

The first effect is why you will want it tomorrow. The second is why it is in the protocol.

02 The Mechanism

The skin does its best work in the dark.

This is not a heavier version of the Environmental Shield Day Cream. It is built for a different job entirely. Through daylight the skin is largely defending itself; overnight, blood flow rises, cell turnover accelerates and the tissue moves out of defence and into repair. The formulation is timed to that second state.

Hydrolysed collagen is carried in a restorative shea butter lipid matrix — the collagen in fragments small enough to read as signal, the lipids holding water in the skin for the length of a night rather than the length of an hour. Niacinamide supports barrier recovery. Lavender floral water carries the whole of it, on a base of Pyrenean mineral water.

We are not the repair. We are the instructions.

  1. Late evening

Applied last, over the serum. The skin stops defending itself and starts rebuilding.

  2. The small hours

Renewal at its most active. The lipid matrix is still holding water in the tissue.

  3. Dawn

Still working when you wake. This is the morning you can see.

03 What Is In It

Four things that matter.

  • Hydrolysed collagen

Broken into fragments small enough to read as signal rather than sit on the surface. The same active runs through the whole protocol.

  • Restorative lipid matrix

A shea butter blend that holds water in the tissue for the length of a night instead of releasing it in the first hour. This is the part you see by morning.

  • Niacinamide

A vitamin B3 derivative, included to support barrier function and the evenness of tone. This is the part that builds.

  • Lavender floral water

The carrier rather than a fragrance — and the reason the formulation smells like the end of the day.

All of it on a base of Pyrenean mineral water, drawn from thermal springs at altitude and arriving with zinc, selenium, copper and magnesium in ionic balance.

04 How To Use It

Last on. Longest on.

Sequence is the active ingredient. The cream closes the evening and seals everything beneath it, which is why it follows the BioSignal Facial Serum rather than the other way round.

  1. 01

    Cleanse

Take the day off properly — makeup, sunscreen, city air.

  2. 02

    Signal

The serum first, onto skin still slightly damp, and give it a moment.

  3. 03

    Seal

An almond-sized amount, upward strokes — face, then neck, then décolletage.

  4. 04

    Sleep

Let it absorb before you lie down. Six to eight hours. It is still there at dawn.

50 Millilitres, in glass. Roughly two to three months at an almond-sized amount nightly.

Editorial

Overnight immersion. Dawn-to-dusk radiance.

Hydration held across the whole of the night, in step with the skin's own rhythm, so the morning starts from a better place than the evening left off — and holds that through the day.

It is the simplest description of what this cream is for. You go to bed with it. You see it when you wake. And the skin underneath is being supported the entire time.

The Skin Analysis

What should your skin be doing overnight?

Sleep, stress and the years all show in the same place. Ten questions and one photograph, and the analyser reads your skin across eight markers, then sets out the evening half of a protocol matched to it.

05 Questions

Six questions, answered.

Will I actually notice anything the first morning?

That is the effect the cream is built around. It is formulated to hold water in the tissue across the whole night rather than release it in the first hour, so skin tends to look plumper and more rested at dawn — visibly, from the very first morning. Zero Lines is in pre-launch, so this describes how the formulation is designed to behave rather than a measured result, and skin differs from person to person.

Why do I need a separate night cream?

Because the skin is doing a different job at night. Through the day it is largely defending itself against light, pollution and temperature. Overnight it moves into repair and cell turnover accelerates. This is formulated for the second of those states rather than the first.

Will it mark my pillowcase?

Not if you give it a few minutes. It is formulated to absorb within five to ten. Apply it at the start of your evening wind-down rather than as you get into bed and it will have settled long before you lie down.

Is it too rich for oily skin?

It is richer than the day cream deliberately — skin generally tolerates, and benefits from, more nourishment overnight. If yours is very oily, start with less than an almond-sized amount and calibrate upward across a fortnight.

Can I keep using my retinol?

The Longevity Protocol is designed as a complete system, so the simplest answer is to move across to it. If you would rather keep a retinol you are settled with, alternate nights rather than layering the two, and introduce the night cream on the off nights first.

Should I take it down the neck?

Yes. Neck skin is thinner than facial skin and usually shows structural change earlier. Carry the cream down the neck and across the décolletage with the same upward strokes.
