Every formulation is built for a purpose.

The conventional approach treats skin as a surface to be covered. We treat it as a living system to be activated — which changes what a formulation is for, and what belongs in it.

Each product in the protocol performs one biological function: preparing the cellular environment, delivering the activating signal, or sustaining the repair process once it has begun. Alone, each is a good formulation. In sequence, they are a system.

02 The Mechanisms

Hydrolysed collagen, botanical signal peptides and a Pyrenean mineral complex. Three different materials addressing one failure — the loss of instruction between cells, rather than the loss of the cells themselves.

01 Hydrolysed Collagen

Fragments the skin reads as instruction.

Whole collagen is an enormous molecule — far too large to cross the barrier. This is the quiet problem with collagen creams: the protein sits on the surface, holds water there rather well, and never reaches the layer where structure is actually made.

Hydrolysed collagen is the same protein, cleaved by enzymes into peptide fragments a fraction of the original size. The fragments are the interesting part. In the body, free collagen peptides appear when the matrix has been damaged — so fibroblasts are tuned to read them as evidence that rebuilding is required.

That is what we formulate for: fragment size, purity and delivery, rather than the headline percentage on a label. A large quantity of a molecule that cannot arrive is not a strong formulation.

02 Botanical Signal Peptides

Cellular communication, restored.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the vocabulary cells use to instruct one another. Ours are drawn from plants rather than synthesised: rose and chamomile flower waters, watermelon extract, and a botanical complex of witch hazel, calendula, chamomile, horse chestnut, peppermint, yarrow, mallow, linden and St John’s wort.

The intent is not to add collagen from the outside. It is to restore the instruction that tells skin to make its own — the message it sent freely at twenty-five and sends reluctantly at fifty.

Botanical rather than synthetic is a formulation decision, not a marketing one. Plant-derived complexes arrive as mixtures, and mixtures behave more like the layered, redundant signalling that skin evolved to read.

03 Mineral Bioactives

Every formulation begins with water drawn from thermal springs high in the Pyrenees. At altitude, water dissolves the rock it passes through differently — arriving carrying zinc, selenium, copper and magnesium in ionic balance, concentrated by geology over a span no laboratory can shortcut.

Those minerals are not decoration. They are cofactors: the elements the skin’s own antioxidant and repair enzymes require in order to work at all. Without them the instruction arrives and nothing can act on it.
